| Ding dong, i think its official: My camera is dead.
what a bummer.. although to be honest i never used that fucking thing often enough to warrant the 300 bucks i spent. Guessed i just assumed that while i used it rarely, I would own it for a long enough time to get some good memories from it. oh well. I guess.. i'll just mooch nick's pics this summer.
School update: um.. grades are all doing well. I thiiink its still possible to get a 4.0 this semester but that all depends on my Trigonometry class. What a bitch, that class is. I got a 72% on the last test, turns out the whole class did bad so we did a retest.. can say i think i did a whole lot better =( dropped by grade from a 94.4 to a 91.2. only 1 homework and a final to take in that class so basically im getting a B.. sucks balls... still got As in Biology, Computer Science, and Norwegian!
Work Update: i've been averaging over 35 hours a week for the last month and a half.
- I am however a crew trainer now. i've heard i got a raise but still dont know how much until they give me my review. w00ters
Girlfriend update: ......Katelyn and I decided that it would be best to see other people.
I'm kidding guys, come on like i wouldnt have called you?! lol phew, the look on your faces.
Katelyn and I are still doing fine. we're ~1 week shy of 1yr 9 months. Katelyn will likely read this and ream me about "not knowing our anniversary date".. but i do! well.. usually...ok sometimes but that date is so subjective.
School is getting done quite soon. Looking forward to summer! hope i can come home soon after finals.. matt, nick.. you guys gonna come sometime? if you dont make it here.. we can always come any time during the summer I suppose. Merch turns 21 this summer, after all. high five!

| i lost me camera.. i are sad. i are sleepy too. i are in need of sleepy.
so anyways, its been a while, eh? 5 months or so. Since then, one semester of MNSU has been completed (got a 4.0 w00t w00t hehe) Its pretty nice here. nice school, anyways. Thats about all i ever see of it. It and Taco Bell. yeeep, im still there, but its alright with me. only place i can think of that puts up with all my shit. Im always asking for days off, often MANY days off in a row. Nick said Green Mill doesnt even let him request ANY days off.. how can they do that!? I'm getting promoted to a crew trainer in April supposedly, which could give me a very noyce raise! (upwards of $9+ an hour, i dare say! I dont care who you are, if you wanna argue getting that much to make tacos isnt good money, you can suck a duck cause you're prolly spoiled. =D ).
In other news.. march 27th will mark 1 year and 8 months with Katelyn. w00ts to that. Moving to Mankato was definitely a good thing - i grew tired of a long distance relationship very quickly... although im still an hour and a half away from her. That still sucks.. i see her once a week usually, better than once a month (or sometimes 6 weeks)!
So in case you're wondering about the camera, its a short story. Went snowboarding in Montana for Spring Break, and despite what matt would argue, I did have my pockets zipped up but what can you expect when I spend more time falling on my ass than actually snowboarding? Hopefully it shows up.. i should call them tomorrow...
To conclude: This semester is winding down - aiming for another 4.0! When school is over i will have to work full time, probably back in GF so I can do PRACS studies too. I'll need the money for when I (application pending) go to Oslo, Norway this summer for school with Nick! (side note: strength of dollar; falling by the day...) I'm excited to go and I know i'll remember it forever, but i must admit now that its a probable option I'm nervous.. its hard to imagine being there for so long.. living there, buying everything there.. so damn expensive. Also, 6 weeks away from Katelyn.. hmmm....
This concludes another chapter in my mind. Lord only knows when I'll next sign in to this site.. or for that matter, why i did tonight! wait.. it was to ready paulson's blogs.. or a snipit of said blogs, those things are just as long as I've heard they are! no lies.. thats pure ranting paulson, pure.. and simple... except its usually not even simple its quite overly complex.. my rant.. IT'S OVERRRR!

| life's too busy to blog lookings forward to this weekend when i see my siblings and my bday is coming up.. i'll get to see the boys. w00t my lady's in cancun right now.. i just got done making tacos for 8 1/2 hours. Yeah, i despise her lol im doing alright.. im doing good even. school's going well.. and i get to see katelyn pretty often. That's all i really care about at this point. just doing my time.. | | |
| Time for that monthly blogging session!
Couple main points in this month's edition:
1) School has been going for about two weeks in Mankato now. I like the school, I sense a lot of potential to really enjoy the place, but I'm still getting used to the place and it's hard to have left everyone in Grand Forks and throw myself in a new environment with no friends  Well I shouldnt say that, Merch and I are holding it down here. Things will get better the longer im here.
2) This past weekend my brother Mike got married! It was a very pretty ceremony and reception, and it all went off as well as could be expected. Lots of fun there, good job brother.
3) My celebration from being done with Taco Bell was short lived, for after a month of applying and being denied a job, the need for a pay check is bigger than my pride, and I'm back at the bell. Still a shift though, and after im "trained in" i'll be at 8.75/hr. Thats dece money no matter where you are, especially at a fast food restaurant!

| So I spent tonight watching the Twins game and packing most of my clothes. Wow its crazy to think that im moving away on wednesday. Tomorrow i shall continue to pack, moving on to what i have dubbed "the knick knack attack" on my room.
This summer went really fast.. so fast. But whilst usually i would say "too fast", i will not this time. Other than the fact i wish i had more time to earn more money.. but i'll be fine, im just paranoid. Thank God im done with that job as of friday at 5pm. Im not disappointed the summer went fast, i kept very busy and content. got to do some fun things and spent a lot of time with my girlfriend (to make up for lost time during the school year i spose heh)
I hope my friends will come visit me in Mankato. I see that most people lose their friends when they move far away, but I dont see that happening to me. I'm sure everyone thinks that though.. basically I'll just have to make a concious effort to keep in touch no matter how busy i get. Nick and Matt - you two are my main group, i hope we can still see each other after i move =S
anyways im psyched right now, but theres always quite an amount of nervousness that accompanies such a large change in your usual way of life. Here's hoping all goes well.
